Day 1: Arrive Kota Kinabalu, Transfer to Hotel (Acco)
Welcome to Borneo! Arrive in KKIA, where our transport will be waiting to transfer you to a Palace Hotel, Kota Kinabalu (3 Star) Free at leisure.
Day 2: Jetty / Kayaking @ Islands / (B/L)(Acco)
From After breakfast, full day of island hopping by kayak. Approximately 40minutes to first island of Mamutik and from Mamutik, 30 minutes to Manukan Island. Lunch at Manukan Island before you proceed to Sapi for 45minutes by kayak. From Sapi Island, kayak back to Manukan Island. The whole kayaking experience will take approximately 2 hours to finish. Free at own leisure. Optional water sports activities such as jet skiing, snorkeling, banana boat riding, borneo seawalking, diving etc is available at the resort itself. All the available activities run by the resort are to be paid directly upon engaging them at the respective counter. Overnight in Palace Hotel, Kota Kinabalu.
Day 3: Padas White Water Rafting (L)(Acco)
We will pick you up from your hotel in Kota Kinabalu area at 0730hrs, then proceed the ride to Tenom for about 2.5 hours drive. On the way, we will pass lush paddy fields, village settlements, and you will be able to witness the sublime views of the mystical Mount Kinabalu. Once we reach Tenom, we will then take the 45min train ride to Pangi – the “Last Train of Borneo”- that cuts through the beautiful jungle and takes us to the starting point for rafting. Once you reach Pangi, light refreshments and sumptuous fruits will be served and you will be given a thorough safety briefing by one of our knowledgeable, fun and adventurous guides. Start rafting from Pangi and proceed through the crashing waves down to Rayoh. Participate in paddling, have a swim, and – if you’re also feeling adventurous- body raft at points along the river. Conquer rapids with names like Headhunter, Cobra Point, Merry-go-Round and Adrenaline Flow. Witness the untouched nature on the banks of the river and “soak up” the atmosphere! Take a well-earned break for a while and have your lunch. After lunch, continue rafting to Halogilat, the ending point for the rafting. Ride the antique train from Halogilat to Beaufort. Once we reach Beaufort, get yourself dry and change if needed, before we transfer you back to Kota Kinabalu.
Day 4 : KK / Kinabalu Park (B/L)(Acco)
After breakfast, drive to the Kinabalu National Park (KNP) for 2 hours drive, with panoramic views of the surrounding countryside. Once at the park, witness the beautiful flora and fauna, and enjoy a guided tour around the diverse area. Lunch will be enjoyed at a local restaurant. Later, check in to Celyn Resort, with excellent views of Mount Kinabalu. .
Day 5 : KNP / Mesilau (B/L/D)(Acco)
After breakfast, transfer from Celyn, proceed to one of the many trails along Mesilau for 3.5 hrs trekking, preparation for the next day’s climb. After lunch, free time and overnight stay before climbing Mt Kinabalu the next day.
Day 6 : Mesilau / Mt Hut** (B/L/D)(Acco)
After breakfast, start the climb up Mt Kinabalu via Mesilau Trail which is a longer trail; 2km farther than the main trail (from Timpohon Gate). A packed lunch is provided for this hike to the Mt hut. Dinner and overnight stay at the Mt hut.
Start the ascent to the summit by torchlight as early as 0200hrs to the highest peak in South East Asia (4095M). After absorbing the amazing views, the long journey to descend back to Timpohon Gate begins. After lunch, transfer to Poring Hot Spring which lies on the Southern boundary of the Park. Open-air bathtubs fed by a sulphurous underground spring offer gentle relief for tired muscles and are believed to have therapeutic properties. For those with energy to spare, there’s a canopy walkway through the lowland rainforest, giving you a birds eye view of the nature below. Around 2.30pm, we will transfer to Tagal Fish Spa, where you will have the opportunity to experience the truly unique “fish massage”: the large, friendly river fish kiss your legs and swim around you as wade into the water. We will then head to Sabah Tea Garden for a sumptuous dinner and overnight stay in the traditional Longhouse.
After breakfast, enjoy a guided tour of the tea factory, which looks out across the stunning undulating tea plantation. Learn how leaves are collected and processed, eventually packaged into tea-bags to be enjoyed by thousands across Borneo. We will then begin the journey to Telupid for 60km. On arrival at Kinabatangan Jungle Camp, we will check in before relaxing and enjoying some free-time. After lunch, proceed for a river cruise at 1530hrs in search of wildlife along the river banks. At 1830hrs, return to KJC for dinner. An optional night cruise (additional RM50.00) is available for those who are interested to see the night life in the jungle.
Day 9 : Kinabatangan Jungle Camp (B/L/D)(Acco)
After breakfast, venture on a kayak down the Kinabatangan river to Tanigang river, tributaries of Kinabatangan river. Witness the diverse scenery and Kayak in search of wildlife including the unique Proboscis monkey, hornbills, crocodiles, orangutan, snakes, pygmy elephants, kingfishers and many others. The Kinabatangan wildlife sanctuary is one of the best places in South East Asia to observe wildlife. Return to the lodge for lunch. After lunch at 1530hrs, proceed for another river cruise and return to the lodge after dusk. Optional night cruise or night walk is available. Dinner and overnight at the Kinabatangan Jungle Camp.
Day 10 : Kinabatangan Jungle Camp / Selingan Turtle Island** / Overnight @ Island Chalet (B,L,D)(Acco)
Check-out after breakfast and proceed to the Selingan Island Jetty. Take a short boat ride to the Island. Witness mother turtles laying eggs on the beach after dark. Release baby turtles out into the open sea. Dinner & overnight at the island chalet.
Day 11: Selingan Island / Sepilok /Overnight @ Labuk B&B (B) (Acco)-
Early check out & return boat ride to the jetty. The journey continues to Labuk B&B. After check in, proceed to Sepilok Orang Utan Rehabilitation Centre at 1500hrs, where orphaned and injured Orang Utans are brought to Sepilok to be rehabilitated to return to forest life. Sepilok is a primary lowland forest, a fine showcase of Borneo’s remaining rainforest. Witness the feeding of Orang Utan from a platform in the forest. Watch the scheduled video documentary show at the Sepilok Information building. The 20 minutes video show will give you an insight of the Orang Utan rehabilitation process and threats to the Orang Utans survival. Meals will be charged on client’s account at the Labuk B&B.
Day 12 : Sepilok / POW Camp / Lahad Datu ON Overnight @ Executive Hotel – (B) (Acco)
Proceed to visit the Prisoners of War (POW) Camp and Sandakan Death March historical site. An Australian Memorial honouring the survivors, POW’s, local civilians who help to clandestinely feed the prisoners, and soldiers who perished at Sandakan and during the death marches into the jungle, has been erected at what was the Prisoner of War Camp in Taman Rimba close to the city of Sandakan. There are just a couple of rusting bits of machinery around, and the place has an eerie air about it. The Sandakan Prisoner of war camp has now been transformed into a very beautiful park with a pavilion on site which houses the history of this very tragic period. Transfer journey to Lahad Datu. Upon arrival at Lahad Datu, check into the Executive Hotel and enjoy time free at your leisure. Explore the surroundings, take a stroll or simply relax. Overnight at Execitive Hote
Enjoy a big breakfast before checking-out. Our guide will then lead you Mountain Biking to Danum Valley, approximately 65KM distance. Danum Valley is a sublime Jungle and nature reserve, home to some of the most diverse animal and plant species on Earth. On the way to Danum Valley, you will pass villages, road-side stalls, palm trees and jungle. Once you reach your destination, relax and enjoy a sumptuous lunch and some refreshing drinks. Go for an afternoon trek in the jungle to spot wildlife and exotic vegetation. After dinner, spend overnight at the Danum Valley Field Center, based on Twin share accommodation.
Day 14 : Full Day Danum Valley; Overnight @ Danum Valley** (B,L,D)
Rise bright and early and enjoy a tasty breakfast, before starting the Mountain Bike journey through Danum Valley, from the field center to Borneo Rainforest Lodge. Our Guide will then secure the bikes, and will then lead you on a hike to the canopy walkway. From here, you can enjoy a birds-eye view of the vibrant life and stunning beauty of the rainforest below. After, feast on a sumptuous dinner of traditional Malaysian food. After dark, you will embark on a night-time safari drive, to spot nocturnal wildlife and birds. Overnight stay at the Borneo Rainforest Lodge.
Day 15: Kota Kinabalu (Acco) (B)
Then, after a hearty breakfast, begin the journey to Lahad Datu, stopping along the way for lunch (guests own account for greater choice & flexibility). We will transfer you to Lahad Datu airport. Flight to Kota Kinabalu and over night at Palace Hotel Kota Kinabalu.

After a hearty breakfast, begin the journey to Lahad Datu, stopping along the way for lunch (guests own account for greater choice & flexibility). We will transfer you to Semporna, for over night @ Seafest Hotel.
Day 16 : Semporna, Sipadan-Mabul Resort; Overnight @ Resort Chalet (B,L,D)
Our transport will pick you up from Seafest Hotel and proceed to the jetty for a boat ride to Mabul Island. From here, relax, snorkel, enjoy the delicious food and idyllic Island surroundings. Mabul-Sipadan Resort is the perfect place for dive enthusiasts & Snorklers, with an abundance of sealife including Turtles, barracuda, sharks, stingray, lion fish and bump-head fish. The islands were nominated for the International Wonders of the World list. Diving & Snorkel gear can be rented on the island. Overnight in the Standard Twin Chalet (upgrade available @ additional cost).
Day 17: Full Day Sipadan-Mabul Resort; Overnight @ Resort Chalet (B,L,D)
Unlimited snorkeling & diving in the surrounding ocean. Sumptuous buffet breakfast, lunch and dinner served in the stunning open-air resort restaurant. There is also an adjoining bar, reading area & TV room. Outdoor pool & jacuzzi, surrounded by palm-trees & overlooking the ocean, offers relaxation & luxury. Massage available on the island (additional cost).
Day 18 : Sipadan, Semporna, Tawau; Kota Kinabalu. (B)
Early morning dive/snorkel. After breakfast, transfer via boat back to Semporna. Transfer via vehicle to Tawau airport for return flight to Kota Kinabalu.
