Padas White Water Rafting / Beach Lodge

Day 1

By 0730hrs, we will depart to Beaufort which takes approximately 1.5hrs drive. Take the “Last Train of Borneo” the starting point. Get prepared for the ultimate white water rafting adventure in Borneo with our experienced guides safety briefing, before beginning the ride. Enjoy lunch and the breath taking scenery of Borneo at BUSAT Base Camp after an exhilarating raft down the Padas River . Guests will take the train back to Beaufort and then transfer to Kuala Penyu Beach Lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 2 Beach Lodge / Pulau Tiga

By 0930hrs, assemble at PTR’s jetty in Kuala Penyu for boat passenger registration.By 1000hrs, board PTR’s boat30mins boat ride to the island. Pulau is nick named ‘Survivor Island’, being the setting of one of the most first reality TV series ‘Survivor’. Have lunch at the Survivor Bar, before experiencing the real deal- volcano mud facial and body mask ! Just beyond the resort, lies small mud volcanoes that are now dormant  gently spewing mineral-rich mud from the ground. The locals believe it contains natural healing elements for the skin and the body. On the island, there’s also an option take a 20 minutes boat ride to Snake Island to catch a glimpse of the sea kraits in their natural habitat (accompanied by a park ranger- additional RM40 fee).Enjoy an afternoon of beach activities; swimming, snorkel, or just hanging out and appreciating the views from one of the hammocks in the trees beside the white sand. Buffet dinner will be served, before spending the night at the hostel.

Tour Includes: Hotel transfer, boat ride, jetty fee, accommodation, meals (L/D), trek to the mud volcano.

Day 3 Pulau Tiga /Klias River Cruise/ KK

Free at your own leisure in Pulau Tiga until check out time at 1400hrs. We will then take the boat ride back to Kuala Penyu and drive to Klias Jetty. We will board a comfortable fiberglass boat for a relaxing 2 hour river cruise in this red river (effected by the trees’ tanine) surrounded by mangrove trees. Proboscis monkey can be spotted up in the trees feeding on young leaves, shoots, sour fruits and seeds.  Among others, you will have the opportunity to observe Macaque monkey, the rare Silver Languor, Water Buffalo crossing the river, and a variety of birds. You may also witness the breathtaking sunset while cruising back to the River Lodge. Upon arrival at the lodge, a sumptuous BBQ dinner is served in buffet style after a half day river cruising.After dinner, take a short walk to the swamp area where you can catch a glimpse of fireflies decorating the mangrove trees like a Christmas Tree. After 10-15mins of admiring the fireflies, we will depart back to Kota Kinabalu.
